Pepsi Football
Pepsi NFL Limited Edition is a series of beverage cans created for the market in Mexico. Four cans honour four American football teams: the Dallas Cowboys, the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Las Vegas Raiders and the New England Patriots. Each can uses the colour palette of its team. A dynamic illustration style shows players with exaggerated proportions to express the physical nature of the sport. The cans are made of aluminium and printed with high definition offset printing. The series was linked to a digital campaign and sold in stores and online.
Pepsi Football Packaging by Dennis Furniss was selected as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Awards. Pepsi Football Packaging earned the Platinum A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2021. The A' Packaging Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design award that recognizes superior design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
